SOOO my car broke down so the last three days I’ve been taking the street car, the go bus/train and another bus to get to work in mississauga. Here are some photos taken by a miserable commuter who needs more melatonin production while he sleeps. The first few are from last weekend in london the morning after the film festival, when my car was not working, then I fixed it later that day, then days later something completely different stopped it from working. shot on the zeiss ikon, trix +2 in xtol.

ha, negs look nice. never asked but what lens did you get for your zeiss?

Last shot: I don’t know why but I’m such a sucker for this kind of photography, but it’s one of my favourite styles. This kind of abstraction, especially if it’s highly geometrical and ordered.

You’ve got some other examples of it in your portfolio too… stuff like those tables in the atrium. Severin has a few good series I’ve seen too, I can’t find them right now to link.

Oh and that downtown shot reminds me of another one you did (did you used to have it on a business card?). Anyway, lots of good lines today.

re good lines: even subtler stuff like the floor in the hammer shot, or the dutching in the first shot of Will and Claire (also I like how they’re wearing Snoop and Pac on their heads)
