There you go, your Toronto geography lesson of the day. It was very surreal being out there though. You’re standing on a giant pile of treasures, and it’s just massive. Shortly after taking these shots we saw a Snowy Owl which was pretty god damned stunning. It’s strange to see such a beautiful animal on a garbage pile.

Anyhow I had intentions of shooting colour here but I forgot the slide for my film back and couldn’t change film. Also the wide angle lens for my camera broke and as a result wasn’t metering so I had to guess these exposures. I’ll have to go back on a nice summer day to capture all the colours of the stones and tiles. My friend Patrick and I just aquired a 4×5 camera that we’re splitting so it might be nice to do 4×5.
